General Information
I have broad-reaching experience in a number of creative design disciplines ranging from pencil drawings to graphic design, photography, and landscaping architecture. I hold a Bachelor's of Landscape Architecture degree from Texas A&M University (received in 2009), and three years of study in a biomedical science undegraduate degree program.
Work has taken me from Dallas, Texas to Billings, Montana, and I have worked in a large office of 500 hundred employees and in a small design firm of only 3 individuals. I did design work on a project with a $3-billion construction budget, and I've consulted with clients on projects looking to spend less than $10,000. I have seen and worked on all phases of the project development process, from the request for proposal through the final punch list. Through this experience I have learned to collaborate in large and diverse groups of professionals and clients, to manage myself, and to produce professional-quality work.
My professional interets include parks, recreation, and trails master planning, native landscape preservation and restoration, low-water and native plant materials, historical landscapes, wilderness areas and wildlife. I am a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and the Montana Recreation and Parks Association (MRPA).
In my free time I enjoy backpacking, camping, photography, basketball and just about anything that takes me outside. I am originally from Irving (Dallas), Texas but I now reside in Billings, Montana and I use every opportunity I get to be outdoors and enjoy this beautiful state.
